The Guardian Post No. 1018 of Friday September 23, seem to be confusing Southern Cameroonians by saying that the annexationist Government of La Republique du Cameroun had had a secret dialogue with SCAPO and the Southern Cameroons National Council in accordance with the Banjul Ruling of Communication 266/203 of the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights (ACPHR). This is False because after the Banjul ruling, both SCAPO and the SCNC waited for the dialogue which did not come until it was time bar.

The Guardian Post is referring to some of the dead people like Tazoacha Asonganyi, and Albert Mukong and people who do not even belong to SCNC to have been involved in a secret dialogue.

If there were to be any dialogue at all, it should have been an open dialogue with the UN, Britain, Nigeria, the United States of America, National and International Media to cover it. And these Nations referred to append their signatures on any document arrived at during the dialogue and of course the Government of Southern Cameroons and her economic structures hitherto dismantled to have been put in place before whatsoever any dialogue.

The Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) denounces any declarations court sessions, and some impostors who pose left and right as SCNC actors.

The Southern Cameroons National Council had already submitted a signature referendum to the United Nations and there is no need for another signature referendum.

The people posing to belong to SCNC who do not belong to the Nationalist wing of the SCNC are fake people brought in by La Republique du Cameroun to derail the course.

There are the same members of the fake SCNC who were sent by the Biya regime to withdraw the SCNC / SCAPO case against La Republique du Cameroun from the West African Court at Banjul. They failed because they were not the people who filed the case.

Southern Cameroonian lawyers should join the Southern Cameroons National Council to buttress the restoration of the Southern Cameroons Independence and Sovereignty and not to fight for their professional and legal rights by using the SCNC.

When the Southern Cameroons regains her independence and sovereignty all those rights will come naturally.

We call on all Southern Cameroonians to stay calm and join the SCNC to pressurize the United Nations of the world and the International Community to complete its work on Southern Cameroons by giving the territory and her people full independence and not independence by allowing the territory and her people to be assimilated, annexed and recolonised by neighbouring La Republique du Cameroun. Southern Cameroonians should be mindful not to be wooed by falsehood propagated by La Republique du Cameroun and people who want to sell the country for cheap money to paint the image of SCNC.         Recent newspaper declarations made by different groups of people who call themselves “SCNCC” have no connection with the SCNC.

Our story of assimilation, annexation and recolonisation is the saddest in the world as our citizens do not enjoy the independence supposedly granted to them in 1961 by the 15th UN General Assembly of the 19th of April the same year.

The Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) the mouth piece of the about 6.5 million Southern Cameroonians continue to maintain their motto “The force of argument and not the argument of force”.

We are God fearing people who trust in world justice and Divine justice.

We know that the truth must prevail not falsehood propagated by the government of La Republique du Cameroun through newspapers and journalists who have been bought over.  As usual, always visit our website:   Keep our children and students well informed of our website and country.

We entreat all Southern Cameroonians to fast and pray for all falsehood propagated by La Republique du Cameroun against the Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) to vanish like smoke.

In God we trust. We denounce any other group like “SCNCC”. Presently the Southern Cameroons National Council has no case anywhere in Court in the British Southern Cameroons.

We will keep the National and International media well informed of any development.

Be proud of our Nation, our territory, our natural resources and our people.

Peter Forchu Chesami, Ph.D

The National Chairman of the

Southern Cameroons National

Council (SCNC)
