2020 New Year Address

A NEW YEAR ADDRESS BY
Dr. Peter Forchu Chesami, the National Chairman of
the Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) at
home and in the Diaspora on the occasion of January 2020

Fellow Southern Cameroonians,

I hail all of you in my humble capacity as the National Chairman of the Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) wherever you may be.
We have lived very horrible times within the last three years, and we pray that the howling wind may come to pass sooner or later. It is our fervent wish that with time, the perpetrators of all diabolical acts on our land, for justice sake, shall all be prosecuted in accordance to the international laws.
Fellow Southern Cameroonians, our neighbourly country plunged us into an unholy war. We thank God that Southern Cameroonians have been on the defence and are defending the assault with unimaginable resistance, despite the losses.
Southern Cameroonians are called upon to be very patriotic not to betray us and our course of action.
There are very unpatriotic people who have sold with impunity our Nation to La Republique du Cameroun for huge sums of money and have escaped out of the country.
As we count prayerfully to the United Nations and the International Community to confirm the independence given to Southern Cameroons on the 19th of April 1961 during the 15th General Assembly of the UN, with October 1st as our Independence Day, we call upon them to speed up their finishing touches to free us from this war of genocide declared upon us by our neighbours La Repulique du Cameroun.
I am cocksure, that God is hearing our prayers and he would inspire God fearing Nations and the United Nations to intervene quickly as they have done to other Nations of the world.
The Southern Cameroons National Council vehemently condemns any war of genocide on her citizens and maintain its motto: the force of argument and not the argument of force.
The God of justice and all the Nations will soon free us at the time we least expect. We should remain steadfast and prayerful, for God has never abandoned his people.
Long Live the Federal Democratic Republic of Southern Cameroons,
            Long Live the United Nations,
and Long Live world peace and justice.
